Since 1958, FBi Buildings has prided itself in using the best quality materials available to bring customers the best building. In fact, we have even pioneered numerous new materials that have since become the industry standard.

Our engineers prefer 29 gauge, heat-treated, full-hard, high-tensile steel with a minimum yield point of 80,000 PSI. The harder steel used by our design team provides increased resistance to impact damage from hail, rocks, and accidents. Unlike you will find in softer 26 gauge steel.
Your steel will have a Galvalume substrate coating, providing the longest possible life. Galvalume is a combination of zinc, silicon, and aluminum that continues to battle corrosion and rust 2-4 times longer than the galvanized steel commonly used by other builders.
FBi Buildings has been manufacturing our own trusses since the beginning in 1958. Every truss is manufactured to your design specifications, giving you a truss that was specifically engineered for the needs of your building.
Where our design team requires it, our lumber is Machine Stress Rated (MSR) and is tested for stiffness and strength in an electromagnetic machine. Each of your trusses is a key component to structural integrity and individually adds to the strength of your building.
Traditionally, pole barns were built with wood columns buried under ground. As you can imagine, as time went on, those wood columns would rot and break. With the environmentally friendly Perma-Column system, there is no wood in the ground and rot is prevented.
FBi Buildings pioneered the use of Perma-Columns, a first in our area. Perma-Columns are a steel-reinforced concrete column system that exceeds industry standards and extends the lifespan of your building.
Screws are the connection point that holds your wood and steel together. If a screw has inferior holding power, your building will have less structural integrity. It may weaken and shift over time. When severe weather strikes, your building will become vulnerable to damage.
To ensure strength, FBi Buildings uses a stainless steel screw head to minimize rust and deterioration over time. In addition, FBi's screw has a full umbrella head which is larger in circumference to help reduce the risk of leaks for years to come.
One of the major causes of degradation or failure of architectural coatings is ultraviolet radiation. It’s vital to ensure your building is the color you chose today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
We use the Kynar 500 paint system to make sure your pole barn maintains the showroom-new look you remember. Kynar 500 is relatively unaffected by the damaging radiation of the sun, unlike many other popular finishing systems.
It comes down to the amazing strength in the molecular bond of Kynar 500, one of the strongest known to man! FBi Buildings uses this premium finish to reduce fading, increase gloss retention and provide corrosion prevention.
