As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Material Take-Off Specialist to join our expanding team in Remington, IN. In this role, you will play a key part in our success by developing bills of materials for projects, assisting estimating and drafting teams, and ensuring seamless coordination with project managers and construction teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop parts lists, steel orders, truss orders, and special order requests for custom building projects.
Collaborate closely with post-frame designers to enhance building constructibility and print clarity.
Assist in inventory accountability and resolve material issues as they arise.
Work with field supervisors and crew leaders to evaluate material needs and ensure efficient utilization.
Coordinate procurement and special-order details with the purchasing department.
Investigate and resolve material shortages or surpluses alongside the construction team.
Communicate with crew foremen to provide material guidance and answer project-related questions.
Support Sales, Drafting, Estimating, and Operations teams with MTO expertise.
Gain familiarity with building codes to assist design engineers in code review.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Construction Management or Drafting/Design, or 3-4 years of experience in post-frame construction with strong math skills (trigonometry/statistics).
Proficiency in Windows-based software.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
Adaptability to evolving project demands.
Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
REQUIREMENT:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software.
