Unmatched Quality

Eliminating the risk factor of working in heights allows the crew to focus on quality. Crews are able to build features like gutters and overhangs on the ground. Reducing material damages, leaks, and repair work during and after construction.

Superior Safety

Qlyft removes harnesses, cables, and working at heights. Nets are installed during construction to protect workers in case of a fall. These changes allow for improved crew retention and maximizing the amount of crew experience building your project. 

Predictable Schedule

Due to being lower to the ground, our crews are less affected by wind. This allows trusses and roof steel to be installed during windy days that normally construction would prohibit. This allows your project to stay on schedule and be completed when desired.

Hydraulic Cylinders

At heart of Qlyft are the hydraulic cylinders. Each hydraulic cylinder can lift 50 tons up to 20' tall eave height. Qlyft can be used for any length of building. the longer the building, the more hydraulic cylinders FBi Buildings will use. 

The cylinders are mounted above a reinforced footing that allows buildings to be lifted on soft or unstable ground.

I-Beam Frames

I-Beam frames are assembled on-site and fitted to the building length. This process is done before the construction of the building is started. 

Each frame is made out of (2) 18" I-beams.

The I-Beams are then raised by the hydraulic cylinders, lifting the building.

Scissor Braces

Scissor braces keep the building stable as it is lifted to its final position. Once the walls are up and secured, the scissor braces steady the lifting frames as they lower to the ground. 

They are designed to support buildings up to 100' wide and 20' tall.

Laser Levels

Laser Levels monitor the lifting height of each hydraulic cylinder, sending that information to the controller This ensure pinpoint accuracy while keeping your building steady during each lift. 

Safety Nets

Nets are installed with clips before construction starts to ensure crew safety. This removes the need for retractables to be worn by the crew. 

Once construction is complete the nets are removed before the building is lifted.
